After more than 24 years as a licensed nail technician, 12 of which were spent working as a global educator and a corporate executive in manufacturing, Elaine Watson combines both her savvy of an evolving industry with her love of nails.
Watson has worn many hats in the nail category including salon owner, celebrity nail technician, television personality/judge on “Nail’d It”, head booth judge of the internationally known Nailympia competition, entrepreneur and most recently as Executive Vice President of Kupa Incorporated. Now she is drawing upon her extensive background to inspire other women (and men!) who have dreams of financial independence.
It is Watson’s hope that the skills she has acquired along her journey can be taught to a new generation of professionals who have love for the nail category but in a way that opens them up to thinking outside the box. There is no longer a “right and wrong” way of doing things, rather a more knowledgeable way to adapt to the needs of this ever evolving industry and its clients.
Karin Ström is one of the most experienced personalities in the global nail industry, where she has been working with everything from competing on international level (17 times Nailympia Gold medal winner, 4 times Grand Champion, 8 times European Champion and 15 times Swedish Champion).
She has been doing product and brand development for one of the largest nail brands in Sweden, as well as educating and training many of the best nail technicians we know in the industry today.
Karin is now working as country manager at Insight Cosmetics Group where she has an international role in supporting education development, competition trainings as well as product and concept developments.
